Develop and implement long term strategy and budget for increasing annual memberships. Secure and update membership level benefits annually. Coordinate with staff for administering membership database and mailings. Prepare and submit proposals. Reports to Executive Director.
Develop and implement long term strategy and budget for increasing annual corporate sponsorships. Meet with VBG leaders to develop lead list. Review available or purchased prospect mailing lists. Walk in to businesses. Secure and schedule meetings between VBG leaders and potential new corporate sponsors. Preparing and submit proposals. Reports to Executive Director.
Assist staff with database administration (CRM, Volunteer, donor prospects, etc.). Evaluate and implement tools to meet administrative needs (e.g., organization calendar, file sharing). Prepare and submit proposals. Reports to Executive Director.
Attend fundraising strategy meetings, update information in donor database. Coordinate personalized thank you letters. Coordinate volunteers for events as needed. Prepare and submit proposals. Reports to Executive Director.
General administrative help with scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, letter drafting, correspondence.
Plan events (non-fundraising) to inform special groups of donors (about 4 events per year). Identify and secure locations. Draft and send invites. Recruit, train, and lead committee of volunteers to execute stewardship events. Coordinate volunteers for stewardship events as needed. Prepare and submit proposals. Reports to Executive Director.
Recruit volunteers to set up and take down VBG booth at public events. Train volunteers to man table with information. Develop calendar of upcoming public events where VBG can potentially have booth/presence. Prepare and submit proposals. Reports to Executive Director.
Work on mapping of features and specimens in gardens. Maintain ARCGIS base map for gardens (certification preferred). Implement Alliance for Public Gardens GIS Model. Link IRIS BG to base map. Prepare and submit proposals. Reports to Executive Director.
Identify locations. Identify partner organizations. Update business plan for series. Work with leadership to identify regional and national speakers of significance. Work with marketing chair. Prepare and submit proposals. Reports to Executive Director.
